Supporting Civil Aviation Authorities in Lebanon in the fields of Safety and Security
Studiare Sviluppo and the Italian National Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC) together with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Republic of Lebanon are responsible for the implementation of the Twinning project “Supporting Civil Aviation Authorities in Lebanon in the fields of Safety and Security”.
The overall objective of the twinning project no. LB 16 ENI TR 03 19 R is to contribute for improving safety and security of civil aviation in Lebanon through the adoption of best standards and improvement of the competences of authorities.
The purpose is to enhance the safety and security of civil aviation in Lebanon by improving the national legal framework, organizational structure and technical capacity of the Lebanese stakeholders in accordance with the Standards and Recommended Practices of the International Civil Aviation Organization, the EU legislation and other best practices. The results to be achieved point to the legal, institutional and administrative reinforcement of the civil aviation sector and to strengthening the administrative and technical capacity of Lebanese DGCA.
Studiare Sviluppo supported ENAC drafting the Project proposal, the work plan, the communication strategy and the budget. In its role of Mandated body, is responsible for administrative and logistics support as well as contractual, administrative and financial management during the contract implementation.
The Project budget is 1,2 million euro and its duration is 24 months.
Studiare Sviluppo, in collaborazione con l'Ente Nazionale di Aviazione Civile italiano e il Direttorato generale per l’aviazione civile (DGCA) del Libano, è responsabile dell'attuazione del progetto di gemellaggio “Supporting Civil Aviation Authorities in Lebanon in the fields of Safety and Security”.
L'obiettivo è migliorare la sicurezza dell'aviazione civile in Libano sviluppando il quadro giuridico, la struttura organizzativa e la capacità tecnica e amministrativa del DGCA libanese conformemente alle norme standard e pratiche raccomandate dall’Organizzazione internazionale dell'aviazione civile ed alla legislazione dell'UE.
In particolare, Studiare Sviluppo ha fornito e fornisce supporto all'ENAC nella stesura della proposta di progetto, del piano di lavoro, della strategia di comunicazione e del budget.
Nel suo ruolo di ente incaricato, Studiare Sviluppo è responsabile del supporto amministrativo e logistico, anche durante gli eventi di formazione e visibilità, nonché della gestione contrattuale, amministrativa e finanziaria per l’intera durata del gemellaggio.
L’importo del progetto è pari a 1,2 milioni di euro ed ha una durata di 24 mesi.
